Question
Is it innate or hereditary to be racist in thoughts?
I dont consider myself a racist but when I see very dark or black people, I kind of hesitate to interact with them. I mean, it is just a feeling that they seem very distant from me and maybe the skin colour does play a hindrance to some extent to hold me back from interacting with them.
Answer
Let me put it this waybrbrYou are programmed by your genes to operate on an quotUs versus Themquot mentality.... and every living thing out there slots into that category in a hierarchical manner.brbrYou will favour yourself and your own offspring above all else.brNext comes your partner and or direct family.brNext comes your friends and further family.brNext comes your community and social grouping be that your ethnicity, religious grouping, profession or whatever.brNext comes your country.brNext comes your species.brAnd so on down the tree of life. brbrThere will be waverings of your judgement from time to time..... but on a general basis, if youre in a situation where there are only people involved.... of various ethnicities.... then the quotThemquot will be people of other ethnicities and the quotUsquot will be people of your own ethnicity.brbrTrust me when I say that youd forget your troubles with black people pretty quickly if the earth was invaded by tentacled aliens even if they actually came in peace and were technically misunderstood. brbrLikewise, if the black people went away, youd just find someone else to have problems with that didnt bother you before.brbrbrIt is all part of the process of promoting YOUR genes at the expense of DIFFERENT genes.
